As a RE/MAX agent since 2004, Kathy Brothers knows the importance of relationships with her clients. Helping people with “the most important financial purchase of their lives” is what drives Kathy to build relationships and go far beyond just delivering brick and mortar to her clients. Kathy, along with her exceptional team that includes buyer’s specialists, Julie Fiorito and Felicia Fiorito, serve the entire Fox Valley Illinois real estate market, selling well over 100 homes per year.
Kathy’s background in marketing has been the perfect foundation for selling homes (before real estate, Kathy worked as Director of Marketing and Communications for Moody Bible Institute in Chicago).
As a Mom to five, Kathy and her husband stay busy with church and school events during their free time. A recent family highlight was Kathy’s son Noah, 14, competing in the Special Olympics held at College of DuPage on May 7. Amidst 780+ fellow athletes, Noah was one of five torch bearers, running alongside the Aurora Chief of Police and many Kane County Police officers. Noah went on to compete and win the bronze medal in the 100 yard dash and the gold medal in the softball throw.
Kathy says the best part of Special Olympics is “it is the only athletic environment where everyone cheers for every athlete. It is a truly wonderful, positive event.” The Special Olympic motto says “Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt” —a great reminder to find the courage to give it all you’ve got, no matter what.
