Julie Fiorito

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” is a quote that definitely applies to Julie Fiorito.  “The best part of being a real estate agent,” she says, “is it never feels like work.”  With the Kathy Brothers team at RE/MAX Excels, Julie loves being part of a group that includes very unique personalities all driven to do the best job possible.  In the process of caring about their clients and not just the next big deal, many clients become good friends.  This formula clearly works well for them; last year, as a team, they closed on 150 homes.

Julie grew up in Medinah, Illinois and attended Lake Park High School in Roselle.  As the eldest daughter in a huge Italian family, Julie loves spending time with her five brothers and sisters, cousins, and extended family.   One of Julie’s favorite traditions is the yearly Christmas trip her family takes to celebrate the holidays. All 30 family members come together to celebrate Christmas with abundant cooking, games, and activities. Family time is so important that, in addition to the Christmas trip, Julie and her siblings plan a fishing trip where they can spend time together every summer.

Married for 33 years, Julie and husband John have lived in Batavia for the past 24 years.  They met when Julie was in the first grade and began dating when she was 16 years old.   They have three grown children who are huge sports lovers.  Daughter Felicia (also an agent on the Kathy Brothers Team) played college softball and competed in synchronized skating throughout high school, daughter Johna competed in synchronized skating, volleyball, and travel softball, and son Hunter currently plays baseball for the University of Northwestern Ohio.

As a self proclaimed “biggest Cubs fan ever” Julie attends games every chance she gets.  She feels fortunate to have attended the historic game that clinched the Cubs place in the World Series.  Julie also enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with friends.  She and her husband feel lucky to have a huge core of friends from high school who are still close and love getting together.

Julie’s first experience in real estate was in 2003, working as an office administrator for RE/MAX Great American.  In 2010, she became licensed as an agent and began working with the Kathy Brothers Team.  Being part of a team allows for excellent communication throughout the entire process – there is always someone available to answer questions.  Julie loves working with buyers – finding the perfect home that matches her client’s needs is very rewarding.  She is very proud of the fact that her team serves clients in all price points, from all walks of life, noting that each client enjoys the same experience and service no matter what.

Julie has attained the Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS) designation and has earned the Executive Club, 100% Club, and Titan Team Awards.
